McDonald’s offers 40 formal jobs to young Arubans
ORANJESTAD – The quick service chain is innovating their recruitment formats, and McDonald’s Aruba is currently enabling young applicants to have their first formal jobs through their online application forms and processes. Among other benefits, the 40 formal jobs offered by the chain do not require previous experience, provide access to world-class training, and allow flexible hours so that employees can combine work and study.
McDonald’s has employed many young people over the years, without requiring previous experience, with flexible schedules so they can combine their studies with formal employment, accessing world-class training to learn crucial skills for their job development, in addition to benefits, incentives and opportunities to develop their career if they decide to stay with the company. “Very few people can imagine that their first formal job will be that life-changing opportunity, but that’s what happened to me. In 1995 I started in the McDonald’s kitchen at the Andino Mall and now I am proud to lead a talented, diverse and passionate team working for four countries, including Colombia,” said Héctor Orozco, Arcos Dorados General Manager for Colombia and the Caribbean Subdivision; “this may be the opportunity for the next generation of Arcos Dorados leaders,” he added.
